The BIS has published the final report from the Nuttall Review of Employee Ownership, setting out the findings of an independent adviser on the barriers to the creation and uptake of employee ownership arrangements. The report makes a number of recommendations, including that the Government should consult on introducing a new statutory right for employees to request consideration of an employee ownership proposal. In responding to the review, the Government announced that it will launch a call for evidence on how a right to request employee ownership arrangements could work.
