An online tool has been made available on the Gov.uk website which helps users find out if they can get maternity, paternity or shared parental leave and how much pay they can get if leave is taken. Before users start, they are provided with a list of pieces of information they need to have-to-hand and reminded that they will need the same information about their partner if it is planned to share the care of the child. The details include dates of employment, current pay level, when the individual wants leave to start and how much leave he or she wants to take.
