HM Courts and Tribunals Service have launched an online service giving stakeholders and users access to employment tribunal judgments in England, Wales and Scotland. The launch follows an announcement by The President of Employment Tribunals in November 2016 that on-line access was part of the principle “open justice”. The announcement indicated that it was not intended to upload judgments promulgated before the new system came into effect and these would still be available at Glasgow and at Bury St Edmunds. However, the new site has some judgments from 2015 and 2016, as well as those from the beginning of 2017.
This update provides summary information and comment on the subject areas covered.
