ICSA is the professional qualifying and membership body required by Royal Charter to lead ‘effective governance and efficient administration of commerce, industry and public affairs’.
ICSA trains people in all aspects of governance and works with policy makers and regulators to develop and communicate good governance. Established in 1891, our knowledge and expertise is rooted in history and we continue to lead current thinking and practice.
We are the only organisation to confer chartered secretary status. We support our members in organisations of all sizes across all sectors of the economy, including large corporates, SMEs, the public sector and charities.
