The results of the Top Employers for Working Families Benchmark and Small Employer Benchmark are unveiled today.

Working Families will be unveiling the annual list of Top Employers for Working Families at a major event to launch National Work-Life Week today. To enter, employers must complete a detailed benchmark survey on their work-life and flexible working policies and practices.  Organisations with up to 250 employees can opt to complete the tailored Small Employer Benchmark.  The highest scoring benchmark entrants are named as the annual Top Employers for Working Families.

Sarah Jackson OBE, Chief Executive of Working Families said: “Working Families is delighted to announce the results of this year’s Top Employers for Working Families Benchmark and Small Employer Benchmark.  In this landmark year where the Right to Request Flexible Working has been extended to all employees, it’s great to see so many good employers with inspiring policies and practices to support parents, carers and flexible workers.”

Computershare Voucher Services Managing Director Julian Foster said: “Computershare has been committed to supporting companies with their family-friendly work practices for many years and it is great to see today’s winners setting new standards and raising the benchmark once again.

“It is essential that companies keep developing ways to support working families, especially with regards to encouraging Mothers back into the workplace, to help retain and recruit the talent needed to drive both their business and the wider economy forwards.” Daniel Gillborn, Director of Childcarescheme, sponsor of the Small Employer Benchmark said: “The importance of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises to the UK’s economy is widely acknowledged. Childcarescheme is proud to be supporting Working Families to help focus on the smaller businesses and their staff.”
