theHRDIRECTOR lands Glaxo sponsorship and advertising deal

theHRDIRECTOR has sealed a long-term sponsorship and advertising deal with GlaxoSmithKline, which includes a summit roundtable focusing on pandemic preparedness and dealing with large scale illness in the workplace. The roundtable will take place in October and HR Directors and business seniors from a wide variety of sectors will be attending and contributing to the debate. An edited transcript of the roundtable will be published in issue issue 64 (scheduled for December). This live event will be backed up with advertising for the remainder of 2009 and into 2010.

Peter Banks, Managing Director of theHRDIRECTOR commented: “This is a timely roundtable event as the current swine flu epidemic has clearly affected most businesses and the aim of the roundtable debate is to provide HR directors with a strategy to combat the impact of large scale illness in the workplace, focusing on preparedness, promoting good practice and contingency strategy. It’s a great boon for the publication to be associated with such a key organisation and this is most certainly a hot topic for debate which I believe our readership will appreciate.”

If you would like more information about the roundtable, please contact the editor on editor@thehrdirector.com or telephone 01454 292061.
