Turn your office pink for breast cancer

Turn your office pink for breast cancer

Breast Cancer Care is calling on offices and places of work to join the charity for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and hold a Big Pink fundraising day to support those facing breast cancer on 16 October.

Whether you have a pink dress down day, a bake sale or department quiz, it's up to you. Remember, any pink goes! Every penny you raise will help Breast Cancer Care be there for families who need support from day one. Whatever you do, make a difference. Make it big. And make it pink! Alec Raven, Head of Community Fundraising at Breast Cancer Care, added: “We’re calling on places of work to gather their colleagues to hold a Big Pink for Breast Cancer Care this Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 570,000 women in the UK are currently living with a breast cancer diagnosis.

Right now, we can’t reach all of them on the day that they need us. But you can help. 16 October is the day you can support us to make sure we are there for people affected by breast cancer, every day, from day one. So join us for the Big Pink day!”

Want to hold your own Big Pink? Join Breast Cancer Care on 16 October, or choose a date that suits you. It can be as fuss-free as you like – and every penny will help Breast Cancer Care continue to support to people facing breast cancer from day one.
