NGA Opens HR Innovation Centre in Bristol

New engineering and support hub for international HR software & services company NGA.

NGA Human Resources continues to invest in the region’s best software developers and customer services skills. Creating a model workplace environment for employees – building shortlisted for a British Council for Offices (BCO) award. NGA Human Resources, a leading HR & payroll solution provider in the UK, today opened its new NGA HR Innovation Centre in the new, ultra-modern, 740 Aztec building on the Aztec Business Park in Bristol. NGA’s CEO, Adel Al-Saleh and Matthew Riddle, Councillor for Severn, officially opened the centre

The decision to open the HR innovation centre in Bristol extends NGA’s tenure in the city and will see the HR & payroll specialist continuing to draw on the engineering, HR technology and customer support expertise that is prevalent in the region. NGA already employs 120 people in Bristol and expects to increase this headcount in the future.NGA’s HR Innovation Centrewill serve three equally vital core functions. It is the lead software engineering and development centre for NGA ResourceLink, NGA’s market leading, scalable HR & Payroll platform for the UK & Ireland.

It is also the customer support hub, providing more than 800 ResourceLink customers and 1.5 million employees with the latest cloud software and user support.  Last, but not least, the Bristol centre will be NGA’s international engineering innovation hub for state-of-the-art technologies, including cloud HR, payroll, HR analytics and BPaaS (Business Process as a Service). The objectives of NGA’s HR solutions are to help businesses to create a great employee experience for their workforces. This same principle is reflected in the design and fit-out of the innovation centre’s interior. It is bright and modern and uses furniture well to create natural work and breakout areas.

The building itself has been shortlisted for a British Council for Offices (BCO) 2016 award. It is highlighted as an example of a model workplace environment for employees. It is the perfect environment for nurturing innovation. “The initial feedback from staff has been very positive. We have moved from an older, dated building and the teams have said that they think the space has been used well and the vibrant colour scheme is inspiring,” explained Jonathan Legdon, President UK mid-markets & LLE.

We are confident that we’re providing a great workspace in a city that is recognised as a hotbed of technical talent, exactly the environment and skills we need to drive and keep the innovation of HR and payroll solutions firmly in the UK,” continued Jonathan Legdon.“The opening of the innovation centre presents a great combined opportunity for the people of Bristol and NGA Human Resources. NGA is recognised as a long-term and valued employer in the city and it is testimony to the engineering and technology skills we have in the region that it has chosen to build its HR Innovation Centre here. It was an honour to be invited to open the centre and I wish all the best of luck to NGA in the continuation of its business success,” said Matthew Riddle, Councillor for Severn.
