The Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order 2013 has been published confirming the revised weekly rates of statutory sick pay (SSP), statutory maternity pay (SMP), statutory paternity pay (SPP) and statutory adoption pay (SAP) for 2013-14. The Order states that: (i) from the 6 April the weekly rate of SSP will be £86.70 (up from £85.85); and (ii) from the 7 April the prescribed weekly rate of SMP, SPP and SAP will be £136.78 (up from £135.45).
