New tribunal award limits came into force where the event that gives rise to the award or payment, occurs on, or after 1 February 2013. Changes include increasing the unfair dismissal compensatory award limit from £72,300 to £74,200 (where the limit applies) and increasing the statutory maximum amount of a gross “week's pay” from £430 to £450, e.g. basic award for unfair dismissal, statutory redundancy pay, etc..
