Stonewall has published its Top 100 Employers for 2016, which showcases the best employers for lesbian, gay, bi and trans staff. The list is compiled from submissions to the Workplace Equality Index, which is a benchmarking tool used by employers to create inclusive workplaces. 415 employers participated in the Index this year and 60,506 employees took part in the staff feedback questionnaire. MI5 was the Employer of the Year, with Lloyds Banking Group in second place and the National Assembly for Wales coming third.
