The Equalities Office has launched a consultation to understand more about the specific barriers returners face in getting back to work, actions that are already in place to support people back to work, and what the Government can do to support all employers to offer returners opportunities. This call for evidence is for those who have returned to work after time out caring for children or family, those currently caring for children or family who would like to return to work, employers and organisations or individuals with knowledge of returners. The consultation comes against the background of £5 million being allocated to supporting returners.
