The Government has published the results of its survey to gather more information about the experiences of LGBT people in the UK which has highlighted the discrimination and harassment LGBT people face at work. 19% of respondents had not been open about their sexual orientation or gender identity with any of their colleagues. 23% had experienced a negative or mixed reaction from others in the workplace due to being LGBT, or, being thought to be LGBT and 11% had experienced someone disclosing that they were LGBT without their permission.
